The immigrant murder rate link is to World Net Daily, one of the most biased and journalistically irresponsible "news" sources out there. This article proves the point. The only source cited for these statistics is from a press release from a Rep. US Representative who attributes no source to the figures that he uses. Given that the government, according to the article, doesn't keep track these statistics, the reader is left with no credible source for the numbers. I think you might want to consider disclaiming the headline you gave to this link.

Furthermore, the only statistics that are even attributed to any kind of study are general arrest and incarceration statistics that the article claims are disproportionate to those of the general population. This is not surprising, since most illegal immigrants are very poor and are inherently criminal (given their illegal immigration status). If you were to drop charges and arrests based only on immigration status and compare these stats to the same stats for "legal" americans at the same economic level, I would not be surprised if the numbers were more proportionate. A real journalist would have looked into it. But, then again, what else would you expect from a "news source" whose editorial contributors include Ann Coulter and Joseph Farah (who wrote this article).

In other news, I'm seriously sore from playing ball last night.
